Name necklaces make the perfect ice breaker. Just think about it…most guys are useless at chatting girls up. How many times have you been out with mates and guys come across to try and impress you, but all that follows is a string of chat-up line cliches. Some of them will at least offer you a drink, but ultimately they are still a complete stranger. Well wearing your name on a necklace has proven to be a great ice breaker for me. Yeah sure you still get the cheesy chat-up lines, but as soon as they can act all smart by showing that they know what your name is (because you have your name hung as a name pendant on a chain) then its amazing how the chat flows a lot more naturally, and as we all know natural flowing chat is a definite winner when it comes to meeting new guys. There’s just nothing worse than feeling like a guy is using the same rehearsed lines on you as he has on so many other girls that night. Also by wearing a name necklace you can mark yourself out from the crowd. It must be intimidating for guys looking around a bar thinking of which girls they should try and impress. They can always take the easy option and go for the girls with the shortest skirts who are obviously up for a little bit of fun, or go for the drunk girl in the corner who doesn’t look fussy either. By wearing a name necklace you also make yourself an easy target for flattery, but for all the right reasons, they already know your name so it just makes it that much easier to chat to you, you are somehow less intimidating!

So my verdict ladies is this: if you are fed up with either being ignored by guys when you are on a night out, or being chatted up in a stale and rehearsed manner by guys who don’t have anything original to say then you can either stay at home, or you can wear a name necklace instead. Job done.
